For more than 30 years, Daniels PreK Learning Lab has proudly served children and families throughout Howard County and surrounding communities, creating a warm, trusted environment where young children can learn, explore, build confidence, and thrive. As a Howard County Public School System Pre-K Partner, Daniels PreK Learning Lab is proud to offer Pre-K at no cost for eligible families, helping make high-quality early education more accessible while supporting children and families every step of the way.
Founded by Ruby Daniels
Founded by Ruby Daniels, an experienced early childhood educator and advocate, our program is built on the belief that young children learn best through meaningful relationships, purposeful play, exploration, and hands-on experiences.
Ruby serves as President of the Maryland State Family Child Care Association and represents thousands of family child care educators across Maryland. She has spent decades advocating for high-quality early childhood education.
